After switching my major to Multimedia Digital Arts with a minor in Advertising, I took a photography class which fueled my obsession, and I purchased my first DSLR. I started to retouch portrait photography for Darton Drake in Baraboo, WI and later for LaBelle Photography Studio in Whitewater, WI. In the summer of 2008, I was hired as the campus Web team photographer. In the fall of 2008, I joined our campus newspaper, Royal Purple News, as a freelance photographer, and in March 2009, I became Assistant Photography Editor.
Over the past two years, I've taken graphic design courses, which has expanded my skills and increased my passion for graphic design. I have developed a unique and powerful style while thriving on criticism in order to advance my skills.
I enjoy designing for Web and print media, especially when I get to utilize my own photography. I always have an "iron in the fire," and am eager to keep busy with extra freelance work.
